When you have learnt about the first Thanksgiving, perhaps you have heard of the Thanksgiving's Day Parade in New York:
The Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will begin  tomorrow, 24 November at 9.00 a.m.

  1. Good morning Norba Caesarina High School students! It’s Jimmy, your previous English teacher from California. I hope you haven’t forgotten me already.

First, I would like to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving! It seems like yesterday when we celebrated Thanksgiving together by making a "Turkey Hand".

Second, here’s a poem I wrote which I’d like to share with you about Thanksgiving.

    "Reminiscing Fall"

As the air gets colder, chillier, crisper,
The leaves slowly turn orange and fall to the ground,
Only to leave the tree branches bare-naked.

Children run outdoors bundled up in warm clothes,
To stomp on every leaf in hopes of hearing a crunch,
And to watch the leaves crumble into pieces.

This marks a special day, Thanksgiving,
A time to give thanks to everything we treasure,
A time to spend with our family and friends,
A time to share a meal with our loved-ones.

Let the turkeys hear our gobble of appreciation and joy,
    Happy Thanksgiving!

    Hugs and kisses from Valencia,
    Jimmy
